This page has nothing to do with comics or animation. One of my other hobbies is playing snooker. I always wanted to try making my own cue, so I bought some tools, set up a work bench and gave it a go. My goal was to make a cue using only hand tools. I managed to do that for the first couple, but for the other two I did use an electric hand drill for the joint, so they are not completely hand made.

Snooker Stuff

This video is of the first cue I made. It is a one-piece cue with a maple shaft. The butt is laminated in wenge and purple heart.

This is my second homemade cue. It also has a maple shaft, but it is a two-piece. The butt is laminated in wenge and ebony. The collar and butt accents are padauk.

This is my third homemade cue. It has a black walnut shaft and an ash butt. For this one, I also made a mini-butt, which serves as both an extension and a contraction.

This is my fourth homemade cue. This is actually a pool cue, even though it looks like a snooker cue. It has an ash shaft and a black walnut butt. It also has a dual-purpose mini-butt. The white collar is PVC plumbing pipe.
